A son

When your days are over and you go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you. It will be one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.

Of all my sons, for Jehovah has given me many sons, he has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of Jehovah's kingdom to rule Israel.

I will choose one of your sons to be king when you reach the end of your life and are buried in the tomb of your ancestors. I will make him a strong ruler.

I will give

The people of Judah and Israel were as numerous as the grains of sand on the seashore. They ate and drank and were very happy.

Jehovah my God has given me peace on all my borders. I have no enemies, and there is no danger of attack.

In his day the righteous will flourish. There will be abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.

For unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.

Gideon built an altar to Jehovah there and named it: Jehovah is Peace. (Jehovah-shalom) It is still standing at Ophrah and belongs to the clan of Abiezer.

Jehovah, you establish peace for us. All that we have accomplished you have done for us.

I make light and create darkness. I make blessings and create disasters. I, Jehovah, do all these things.

I create the fruit (praise) of the lips: Peace, peace to the near and the far off, says Jehovah, and I will heal him.

This is what Jehovah says: I will offer you peace like a river and the wealth of the nations like an overflowing stream. You will nurse and be carried in Jerusalem's arms and cuddled on her knees.

The glory of this house will be greater than it was before. I will give my people peace. Jehovah of Hosts has spoken.
