David Organizes The Musicians

¹ And David and the captains of the host set apart for service, unto the sons of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, such as should prophesy, with lyres, with harps, and with cymbals, - and, the number of the workers, for their service, was: ² Of the sons of Asaph, Zaccur and Joseph and Nethaniah and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph, - under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the direction of the king. ³ Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun, - Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah - six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun, with the lyre, as he prophesied, in giving thanks and offering praise unto Yahweh.
