He that

The same for you unless you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will speak into the air.

Let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.

They did not know that Joseph understood. There was an interpreter between them.

Jehovah will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, as the eagle swoops down, a nation whose language you will not understand,

Then Eliakim son of Hilkiah, and Shebna and Joah said to the Rabshakeh (the commander): Will you kindly make use of the Aramaean language in talking to your servants. We are used to it. Do not use the Jews' language in the hearing of the people on the wall.

They were all filled with the Holy Spirit. They began to speak with different tongues, as the Spirit moved them to speak.

They heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then Peter responded:

Paul laid his hands on them and Holy Spirit came upon them. They spoke with tongues and prophesied.

Understandeth

Everyone with me saw the light. They did not hear the voice of the one speaking to me.

Howbeit

We speak the wisdom of God in a secret, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the ages (generations and human entities) for our glory.

If I have the gift of prophesy, and know all secrets and all knowledge, and though I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

Behold, I show you a secret. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

My mouth will speak wisdom. I have carefully considered understanding (insights).

I will open my mouth in an illustration. I will utter dark sayings of old,

He responded: You are allowed to know the divine secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but it is not for others to know. (The Greek word for you is plural and is applied to the disciples as a group.)

He told them: The secret of the kingdom of God is given to you. Illustrations are spoken to outsiders.

Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my good news, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the secret, which was kept secret since the world began.

The secret was made known to me by revelation, just as I wrote before in few words.

Pray on my behalf, that ability to speak may be given to me, to make known with boldness the secret of the good news.

It is the secret he hid through all past ages from all human beings but has now revealed to his holy ones.

I do this that they may be filled with courage and be united (knit) together in love. I have the full assurance that only true understanding brings. In this way they will accurately know God's secret, which is Christ himself.

They should maintain the secret of the faith with a clear conscience.

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he will sound his trumpet, the secret of God is finished, just as he declared to his servants the prophets.
