God's Commands

² And He is Himself the atoning sacrifice for our sins; and not for ours alone, but also for the whole world. ³ By this we can be sure that we know Him -- if we practice obedience to His commands. ⁴ Whoever says, "I know Him," but does not practice obedience to His commands is a liar, and there is no truth in his heart;

Keep His Commandments

John 14:15

"If you really love me, you will keep my commands.

If you continue to keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commands and remain in His love.

By the fact that He has given us a portion of His Spirit we can be sure that we remain in union with Him and He in union with us.

For love to God means this, to practice obedience to His commands, and His commands are not burdensome,
