I write

it is so because the message that you have heard from the beginning is this: We should love one another.

So they took him and brought him to the city auditorium and said, "May we know what this new teaching of yours is?

And now I beg you, my lady, not as though I were writing you a new command, but one which we had from the beginning, that we continue to love one another.

But

"You have heard that it was said, 'You must love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'

And He answered him, "'You must love the Lord your God with your whole heart, your whole soul, and your whole mind.'

Jesus answered, "The first one is, 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord,

Stop owing anybody anything, except the obligation to love one another, for whoever practices loving others has perfectly satisfied the law.

For you, brothers, were called to freedom; only you must not let your freedom be an excuse for the gratification of your lower nature, but in love be slaves to one another.

But if you really observe the law of the King in accordance with the Scripture, "You must love your neighbor as you do yourself," you are doing right;
