The children of god

By this we know that we love the children of God: whenever we love God and keep his commandments.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend expecting back nothing, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

The Spirit himself confirms to our spirit that we are children of God,

Therefore become imitators of God, as beloved children,

And

and the field is the world. And the good seed--these are the sons of the kingdom, but the darnel are the sons of the evil one.

You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father! That one was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand firm in the truth, because truth is not in him. Dear friend, do not imitate [what is] evil, but [what is] good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God.

We know that we have passed over from death to life because we love the brothers. The one who does not love remains in death.

The one who says [he] is in the light and hates his brother is in the darkness until now.

The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
