The one who says "I have come to know him," and does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in this person.

Everyone who resides in him does not sin. Everyone who sins has neither seen him nor known him.

Jesus replied, "If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. The one who glorifies me is my Father, [about] whom you say, 'He is our God.'

And this is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light and there [is] no darkness in him at all.

Finally, brothers, rejoice, be restored, be encouraged, {be in agreement}, be at peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love [with] which he loved us,

For indeed our God [is] a consuming fire.
