When all the people saw this, they threw themselves down with their faces to the ground and said, "The Lord is the true God! The Lord is the true God!"

"Indeed, I am completely unworthy -- how could I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth to silence myself.

And he said to him, 'Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?' But he had nothing to say.

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world may be held accountable to God.

So what benefit did you then reap from those things that you are now ashamed of? For the end of those things is death.
