1 Kings 1:21
Otherwise it will come about,
as soon as my lord the king sleeps with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon will be considered offenders.”
1 Chronicles 29:28
Then he died in
a ripe old age, full of days, riches and honor; and his son Solomon reigned in his place.
Brethren, I may confidently say to you regarding the patriarch David that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
