And Benhadad the king of Syria escaped on a horse with his horsemen. ²¹ And the king of Israel went out and smote horse and chariot, and slew a great slaughter of the Syrians. ²² Then there came a Prophet to the king of Israel, and said to him, "Go forth and play the man: be wise and take heed what thou doest. For when the year is about, the king of Syria will come against thee again."
