It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
2 Chronicles 4:4
It stood on twelve oxen, three facing the north, three facing west, three facing south and three facing east; and the sea was set on top of them and all their hindquarters turned inwards.
The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve bronze bulls that were under
the sea, and the stands, which King Solomon had made for the house of the Lord—the bronze of all these vessels was beyond weight.
As for the
form of their faces, each had the face of a man; all four had the face of a lion on the right and the face of a bull on the left, and all four had the face of an eagle.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
And He said to them,
“ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
1 Corinthians 9:9
For it is written in the Law of Moses, “
You shall not muzzle the ox while he is threshing.” God is not concerned about oxen, is He?
and before the throne there was something like a
sea of glass, like crystal; and in the center and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind.
