Ye be

For this is acceptable, if, for conscience toward God, one endures griefs, suffering wrongfully.

But, if ye should even suffer for righteousness sake, happy are ye. But fear not their fear, neither be troubled;

Reproached

at which they are surprised, since ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you;

"Happy are ye, when they shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake.

"Happy are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from themselves, and reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man.

The Pharisees; therefore, answered them, "Have ye also been led astray?

The Jews answered and said to Him, "Say we not well that Thou art a Samaritan, and hast a demon?"

And they reviled him, and said, "You are His disciple; but we are disciples of Moses.

Wherefore, I take pleasure in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then am I powerful.

Happy

Happy is a man who endures temptation; because, when he becomes approved, he will receive the crown of life, which He promised to those who love Him.

Behold, we pronounce those happy who endured: ye heard of the patience of Job; and ye saw the end of the Lord, that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful.
