1 Samuel 1:14

He said to her: Stop making a drunken show of yourself! Stop your drinking and sober up!

When the people of Israel heard this, the whole community came together at Shiloh to go to war against the eastern tribes.

How long will you say such things? Your words are a blustering wind.

if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent,

If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored. You must remove unrighteousness from your tents,

How long will all of you attack a man? How long will you try to murder him, as though he were a leaning wall or a sagging fence?

Put away from you a deceitful mouth. Get rid of devious speech.

How long will you sleep, O lazy person? When will you arise from your sleep?

Stop judging, so that you will not be judged.

Put away falsehood. Speak truth each one of you with his neighbor: for we are members (belonging to) (together with) of one another.

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and screaming, and abusive speech, be put away (removed) (expiated) from you, along with all malice.
