Saul Seeks Samuel's Advice

6 The servant responded: There's a man of God in this city, a highly respected man. Everything he says is sure to happen. Let us go there. Maybe he will tell us which way we should go. 7 Then Saul said to his servant, “But behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? For the bread is gone from our sack and there is no present to bring to the man of God. What do we have?” 8 I have a small piece of silver, the servant answered. We can give him that. Then he will tell us where to look for the donkeys.
