Jacob responded: My lord knows that the children are frail and that the flocks and herds that are nursing are a care to me. If they are driven hard one day, all the flocks will die.

He tends his flock like a shepherd. He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart. He gently leads those that have young.

I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down on good grazing ground and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me. I am meek (mild) and humble in heart. You will have a restful life,

When they had eaten Jesus said to Simon Peter: Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? He said: Yes Lord; you know I have affection for you. Jesus said to him: Feed my lambs.

And I came to you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

To the weak I became as the weak, that I might gain the weak. I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

Now I Paul myself entreat you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who in your presence am lowly among you, but being absent am of good courage toward you.

Though he was impaled through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. We are weak through him also, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

The Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind (gentle) to all, able to teach, and patient when wronged.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable (yielding), full of mercy and good fruits, without discord (partiality), without hypocrisy.
