So comfort one another with these words.

And edify

So then let is eagerly pursue the things that make for peace and the upbuilding of each other.

Let each one of us try to make his neighbor happy for his good, unto his upbuilding.

"All things are lawful," you say? But not all things are expedient; "all things are lawful"; but not all build up.

Now I should like you all to speak with "tongues"; but I should rather that you prophesied, For he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be built up.

Do you think that all this time I am defending myself to you? It is before the presence of God that I am speaking in Christ; and all, beloved, for your upbuilding.

in order to equip the saints for the work of serving, for the building up of the Body of Christ??13 till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to the maturity of manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.

nor to be paying attention to myths and interminable genealogies, which tend to promote discussions rather than a stewardship entrusted by God, a stewardship which is in faith.

But you, beloved, continually building yourselves up on your most holy faith, and ever praying in the Holy Spirit,

As indeed you do love all the brothers in Macedonia. But I exhort you, brothers, to abound in this yet more.

And I myself also am confident regarding you, my brothers, that you yourselves are already full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and well able to give advice to one another.

I shall therefore be always ready to remind you of all this, even though you know it, and are firmly founded in the truth which is with you.
