A pure

Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall see God.

The good man, out of his good treasury, brings forth good things; and the evil man, out of his evil treasury, brings forth evil things.

Shun youthful desires, and follow righteousness, faithfulness, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

A good

holding faith and a good conscience, which some having thrust from them, as it respects faith have made shipwreck; of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander,

holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.

And Paul, looking earnestly upon the Sanhedrin, said: Brethren, I have lived in all good conscience toward God to this day.

And I do exercise myself in this, always to have a conscience void of offense toward God and man.
