Instructions To Pray For All People
1 First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanks be offered on behalf of all people,

Instructions To Men And Women
8 So I want the men to pray in every place, lifting up holy hands without anger or dispute.

Instructions For Women
9 Likewise the women are to dress in suitable apparel, with modesty and self-control. Their adornment must not be with braided hair and gold or pearls or expensive clothing,
9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
9 Likewise, I want (U)women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, (g)modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments,
9 Also, the women are to dress themselves in modest clothing,(O) with decency and good sense, not with elaborate hairstyles, gold,(P) pearls, or expensive apparel,
9 Women, for their part, should display their beauty by dressing modestly and decently in appropriate clothes, not with elaborate hairstyles or by wearing gold, pearls, or expensive clothes,
10 but with good deeds, as is proper for women who profess reverence for God.

12 But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man. She must remain quiet.
