Jehoshaphat Appoints Judges

6 He told the judges: Be careful when you make your decisions in court. Remember these are Jehovah's people. He will know the judgements you decide. 7 Now then let the fear of the Lord be upon you; be very careful what you do, for the Lord our God will have no part in unrighteousness or partiality or the taking of a bribe.” 8 Jehoshaphat also appointed some Levites, some priests, and some of the family leaders to serve as judges in Jerusalem.
