Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.
1 Kings 8:54
When Solomon had finished praying this entire prayer and supplication to the Lord, he arose from before the altar of the Lord, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread toward heaven.
It will also come to pass that before they call, I will
answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.
Now while I was
speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God in behalf of the holy mountain of my God,
And when they had prayed, the
place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.
But about midnight
Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them;
It came about when the sun had set, that it was very dark, and behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a flaming torch which
passed between these pieces.
I will meet there with the sons of Israel, and it shall be consecrated by My glory.
Then fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the portions of fat on the altar; and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.
Then the angel of the Lord put out the end of the staff that was in his hand and touched the meat and the unleavened bread; and
fire sprang up from the rock and consumed the meat and the unleavened bread. Then the angel of the Lord vanished from his sight.
1 Kings 18:24
Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the Lord, and
the God who answers by fire, He is God.” And all the people said, “ That is a good idea.”
1 Chronicles 21:26
Then David built an altar to the Lord there and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. And he called to the Lord and
He answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering.
Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming,” says the Lord of hosts.
2 Chronicles 5:13
in unison when the trumpeters and the singers were to make themselves heard with one voice to praise and to glorify the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice
accompanied by trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and when they praised the Lord saying, “ He indeed is good for His lovingkindness is everlasting,” then the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud,
Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting. When they came out and blessed the people,
the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.
1 Kings 8:10
It happened that when the priests came from the holy place,
the cloud filled the house of the Lord,
In the year of
King Uzziah’s death I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple.
Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the
temple when the man entered, and the cloud filled the inner court.
Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house.
Then He brought me by way of the
north gate to the front of the house; and I looked, and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord, and I fell on my face.
I will shake
all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts.
And the city
has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
