¹⁵ Now My eyes shall be open, and My ears shall be open to the prayer of this place. ¹⁶ For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, so that My name may be there forever. And My eyes and My heart shall be there forever. ¹⁷ And you, if you will walk before me, as David your father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and shall observe My statutes and My judgments,

2 Chronicles 7:12

And Jehovah appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him, I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place to Myself for a house of sacrifice.

Deuteronomy 12:21

If the place which Jehovah your God has chosen to put His name there is too far from you, then you shall kill of your herd and of your flock which Jehovah has given you, as I have commanded you, and you shall eat in your gates whatever your soul desires.

2 Chronicles 6:5-6

From the day that I brought My people out of the land of Egypt I have not chosen any city among all the tribes of Israel to build a house in, so that My name might be there. Nor have I chosen any man to be a ruler over My people Israel.

2 Chronicles 6:20

I pray that Your eyes may be open on this house day and night, on the place of which You have said that You would put Your name there, to listen to the prayer which Your servant prays toward this place.
