²⁶ For Jehovah saw the affliction of Israel exceedingly bitter, and none shut up, and none left, and no helper to Israel. ²⁷ And Jehovah spake not to wipe away the name of Israel from under the heavens: and he will save them by the hand of Jeroboam son of Joash. ²⁸ And the rest of the words of Jeroboam, and all which he did, and his powers, how he warred, and how he turned back Damascus and Hamath to Judah in Israel, are they not written upon the book of the words of the days to the kings of Israel?
