Shallum Reigns Only A Month In Israel

¹³ Shallum the son of Jabesh, began to reign, in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah, king of Judah, - for the space of a month in Samaria. ¹⁴ Then came up Menahem son of Gadi, from Tirzah, and entered Samaria, and smote Shallum son of Jabesh in Samaria, - and slew him, and reigned in his stead. ¹⁵ Now, the rest of the story of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold them! written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel!
