2 Kings 17:18
Jehovah was very angry with Israel. He removed them from his sight. Only the tribe of Judah kept its place.
1 Kings 11:13
Still I will not take the entire kingdom from him. I will give one tribe to your son, because of my servant David, and because of Jerusalem, the town of my selection.

Deuteronomy 32:21-26
They made him furious because they worshiped foreign gods. They angered him because they worshiped worthless idols. So I will use those who are not my people to make them jealous and a nation of godless fools to make them angry.
Joshua 23:13
