Eyewitnesses

16} For we did not follow cleverly devised ^(A)tales when we made known to you the ^(B)power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were ^(C)eyewitnesses of His majesty. ^{Tools
17} For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such an ^(a)^(D)utterance as this was ^(b)made to Him by the ^(E)Majestic Glory, “This is My beloved Son with whom I am well-pleased”— ^{Tools
18} and we ourselves heard this ^(c)utterance made from heaven when we were with Him on the ^(F)holy mountain.

19} ^(d)So we have ^(G)the prophetic word made more ^(H)sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to ^(I)a lamp shining in a dark place, until the ^(J)day dawns and the ^(K)morning star arises ^(L)in your hearts.
