I have said before, and I now foretell as if present a second time, although absent, to those who have already sinned and to all the rest, that if I come again I will not spare;

PETER, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the elect strangers of the dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia,

I stir

I think it right as long as I am in this tabernacle, to excite you by remembrance,

For which cause I admonish you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the imposition of my hands.

Pure

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither partake of others' sins. Keep yourself pure.

Having purified your souls by obeying the truth to unfeigned brotherly love, love one another fervently, from the heart,

Way

Wherefore I will not neglect always to remind you of these things, although you have known them, and have been established in the present truth.
