And David sent and inquired about the woman. And one said, "Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?"

These were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan and Solomon, four by Bath-shua, the daughter of Ammiel;

They were well-fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for his neighbor's wife.

Uriah the Hittite, Zabad the son of Ahlai,

For with hearts like an oven they approach their intrigue; all night their anger smolders; in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire.

But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.
