And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren the singers, with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding aloud and lifting up the voice with joy.

And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of Jehovah, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise Jehovah, after the order of David king of Israel.

Oh clap your hands, all ye peoples; Shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

They have seen thy goings, O God, Even the goings of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.

The sound

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams horns before the ark: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.

Praise him with trumpet sound: Praise him with psaltery and harp.
