And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.
I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”
Now when He was in Jerusalem at
the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name, observing His signs which He was doing.
the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and began contradicting the things spoken by Paul, and were blaspheming.
the Jews who disbelieved stirred up the minds of the Gentiles and embittered them against the brethren.
the Jews, becoming jealous and taking along some wicked men from the market place, formed a mob and set the city in an uproar; and attacking the house of Jason, they were seeking to bring them out to the people.
Some were being persuaded by the things spoken, but others would not believe.
did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, “ Lord, who has believed our report?”
2 Corinthians 4:3
And even if our
gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
