Demetrius has been testified to by all, even by the truth itself. We also testify to him, and you know that our testimony is true.

because I hear of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints.

that you abstain from meat that has been sacrificed to idols and from blood and from what has been strangled and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from doing these things, you will do well. Farewell.

Nevertheless, you did well to share with me in my trouble.

For what credit is it if you sin and are mistreated and endure it? But if you do good and suffer and so endure, this finds favor with God.
