To Demetrius testimony has been borne by all, and by the truth itself; and we also bear testimony, and you know that our testimony is true.

hearing of your love and the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all the saints;

They, therefore, having been sent forward by the assembly, went through both Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the gentiles; and they were causing great joy to all the brethren.

And, when it came to pass that we completed the days, going forth, we were resuming our journey; they all, with wives and children, accompanying us out of the city; and, kneeling down on the beach, having prayed, we bade one another farewell;

Diligently send forward Zenas the lawyer and Apollos, that nothing may be lacking to them.

After a godly sort

that ye should walk worthily of God, Who is calling you into His own Kingdom and glory.

His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will set you over many; enter into the joy of your lord.'

that ye abstain from idol-sacrifices, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication; from which keeping yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well."

Notwithstanding, ye did well, in sharing with me in my tribulation.

For what glory is it, if, when sinning and being beaten, ye endure it? but, if, when doing well and suffering for it, ye endure it, this is acceptable with God.
