While he was still speaking there came a crowd, and he who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He came near to Jesus in order to kiss him,

In reply Jesus said to them. "Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? And yet even of you one is an enemy."

While I was with them I kept them by the power of thy name which thou hast given me. I guarded them, and none of them was lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

But I hold not my life of any account, as dear unto myself, if only I may run my race, and accomplish the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to attest the gospel of the grace of God.

After saluting them Paul rehearsed, one by one, the things that God had done among the Gentiles by his ministry.

So then, as I have this ministry because of God's mercy to me, I do not lose heart.

And all this is from God, who through Christ reconciled me to himself, and gave me the ministry of reconciliation;
