Acts 12:3

Herod Kills James And Imprisons Peter

² And he slew James, the brother of John, with the sword; ³ and, seeing that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. And then were the days of unleavened bread. ⁴ And, having seized him, he put him in prison, delivering him to four quaternions of soldiers to guard him; intending, after the passover, to bring him up to the people.
