Acts 13:18

And he suffered their manners in the wilderness, about the space of forty years.

He brought them out, doing wonders and signs, in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

Whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back into Egypt,

Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that all our fathers were under the cloud,

Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith) To day,

For who, when they had heard, provoked God?
