The Letter From The Council

²⁴ Inasmuch as we have heard that certain persons went out from us and troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, That you must be circumcised, and keep the law, to whom we gave no commandment, ²⁵ it has seemed good to us, having come together with one mind, to send chosen men to you, with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, ²⁶ men who have en dangered their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
