A vision

Now there was a disciple called Ananias in Damascus. The Lord said to him in a vision, "Ananias." He said, "I am here, Lord."

About three o'clock in the afternoon he distinctly saw in a vision an angel of God entering and saying to him, "Cornelius."

"I was in the town of Joppa at prayer," he said, "and in a trance I saw a vision ??a vessel coming down like a huge sheet lowered from heaven by the four corners. It came down to me,

And the Lord said to Paul in a vision by night, "Have no fear, speak on and never stop,

When I returned to Jerusalem, it happened that while I was praying in the temple I fell into a trance

For last night an angel of the God I belong to and serve, stood before me,

There is nothing to be gained by this sort of thing, but as I am obliged to boast, I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord.

He related to us how he had seen the angel standing in his house and saying, 'Send to Joppa for Simon who is surnamed Peter;

But how are they to invoke One in whom they do not believe? And how are they to believe in One of whom they have never heard? And how are they ever to hear, without a preacher?
