I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius.

The chief

They all grabbed Sosthenes, the ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the court. Gallio did not care about this.

After the public reading of the law and the prophets the synagogue officials sent to them, saying: You men and brothers if you have a message of encouragement for the people speak.

While he yet spoke they came from the ruler of the synagogue's house. They said: Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the teacher.

Believed

He was a devout man who respected God with his entire household. He gave many gifts of mercy to the people and prayed to God always.

A woman named Lydia who was a seller of purple came from Thyatira. She worshipped God because God opened her heart to listen to the things spoken by Paul.

Every male in Abraham's household, including those born in his household or bought from a foreigner, was circumcised with him.

I have chosen him, that he may command his children and his household; and that they may remain in the righteous and just way of Jehovah. Jehovah will bring to Abraham what he told him.

If you are not willing to serve him, decide today whom you will serve, the gods your ancestors worshiped in Mesopotamia or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are now living. As for my family and me, we will serve Jehovah.'

Hearing

Now when they heard this, they were stabbed to the heart, and said to Peter and to the rest of the apostles: Men and brothers, what shall we do?

When they believed what Philip preached about the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

He said to them, Go into the entire world, and preach the good news to the whole creation.

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without someone to preach?

Is Christ divided? Was Paul impaled for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
