Acts 19:30

Paul wanted to go into the assembly and address the people, but the disciples would not let him.

But the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, when they heard it, tore their clothes and rushed into the crowd,

So Paul stood up in the center of the auditorium and said: "Men of Athens, at every turn I make I see that you are very religious.

Paul answered, "I am a Jew from Tarsus, in Cilicia, a citizen of no insignificant city. Please let me speak to the people."

And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.

As he was about to be taken into the barracks, Paul said to the colonel, "May I say something to you?" The colonel asked, "Do you know Greek?
