Some of the public officials in Asia, who were friendly to him, also sent word to him, begging him not to risk himself in the theatre.

Then they crossed Phrygia and Galatia. But because they were prevented by the Holy Spirit from speaking the message in Asia,

This went on for two years, so that everybody living in the province of Asia, Greeks as well as Jews, heard the Lord's message.

When we heard this, we and all the people there begged him not to go up to Jerusalem.
