For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

David himself said in the Holy Spirit, "The Lord said to my Lord, 'Sit at my right hand until I make thy foes the footstool of thy feet.'

"for David himself say's in the book of the Psalms, "The Lord said to my Lord. Sit at my right hand,

For he must rule until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

God has put all things under Christ's feet, and placed him as Head over all in the church,

To which of the angels has he ever said, Sit at my right hand, Till I make thy foes a footstool for thy feet?

This is the Lord's doing; It is marvelous in our eyes."
