Acts 2:34

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

saying, What do you think of the Christ? whose son is he? They said to him, David's.

David himself said, by the Holy Spirit, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.

And David himself says in the book of Psalms, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit on my right hand,

For he must reign till he has put all enemies under his feet.

and put all things in subjection under his feet, and made him head over all things to the church,

And to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand till I make thy enemies thy footstool?

this is from the Lord, and it is wonderful in our eyes?

For he must reign till he has put all enemies under his feet.

but this [priest] having offered one sacrifice forever for sins, sat down on the right hand of God,
