When the day of Pentecost had arrived, they were all together in one place.

So he got up and went. There was an Ethiopian man, a eunuch and high official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of her entire treasury. He had come to worship in Jerusalem

Also observe the Festival of Harvest with the firstfruits of your produce from what you sow in the field, and observe the Festival of Ingathering

at the end of the year, when you gather your produce from the field.

“Knowing their works and their thoughts, I have come to gather all nations and languages; they will come and see My glory.

Then the word of the Lord of Hosts came to me:

The one named Cleopas answered Him, “Are You the only visitor in Jerusalem who doesn’t know the things that happened there in these days?”

Now some Greeks were among those who went up to worship at the festival.

Devout

Devout men buried Stephen and mourned deeply over him.

He was a devout man and feared God along with his whole household. He did many charitable deeds for the Jewish people and always prayed to God.

But the Jews incited the prominent women, who worshiped God, and the leading men of the city. They stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas and expelled them from their district.

Someone named Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good reputation with all the Jews residing there,

There was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. This man was righteous and devout, looking forward to Israel’s consolation,

and the Holy Spirit was on him.
