And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.

and disagreeing among themselves they were dismissed by Paul, saying one word; Well did the Holy Spirit speak by Isaiah the prophet to our fathers,

Think not that I have come to send peace on the earth. I have not come to send peace, but a sword.

Do you think that I have come to give peace on the earth? I tell you, no; but rather division.

Then some of the multitude hearing these words, said, This is truly the prophet;
