And said unto them - Men of Israel! be taking heed unto yourselves, what ye are about to inflict upon these men.

If we let him alone thus, all, will believe on him, and the Romans will come, and take away, both our place and nation.

For

And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known to us, and that God had overturned their counsel, then returned we, all of us, unto the wall, every man unto his work.

Who doth frustrate the schemes of the crafty, that their hands cannot achieve abiding success;

Yahweh, hath frustrated the counsel of nations, hath brought to nothing the devices of peoples.

There is no wisdom, nor understanding, nor counsel, to confront Yahweh.

Because Syria, hath taken counsel against thee, for mischief, - with Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, saying,

Rage, O ye peoples, - and be overthrown, And give ear, all ye distant parts of the earth, - Gird yourselves and be overthrown, Gird yourselves, and be overthrown:

That I will break in pieces the Assyrian in my land, Yea upon my mountains, will I tread him underfoot, - So shall be removed from off them his yoke, And his burden, from off their shoulder shall be removed.

Who was it that spake, and it was done, when , My Lord, had not commanded?

And, he, answering, said - Every plant which my heavenly Father hath not planted, will be uprooted:

For be looking at the calling of you, brethren, - that there were not many wise, according to flesh. Not many powerful, not many high-born:

For, the wisdom of this world, is, foolishness with God; for it is written - He that taketh the wise in their knavery, -
