But because they believed Philip preaching the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized both men and women.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God continues in him and he in God.

Every one who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and every one who loves the Father loves also the Son who is born to him.
