Wherefore, if ye be dead with Christ from ordinances of the world: Why as though ye yet lived in the world, are ye led with traditions of them that say

Then were the king's scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and there was written, according as Haman commanded, unto the king's princes, and to the captains everywhere in the lands, and to the rulers of every people in the countries on every side, according to the writing of every nation, and after their language in the name of king Ahasuerus, and sealed with the king's ring.

Write ye now therefore for the Jews, as it liketh you in the king's name, and seal it with the king's ring." For the writings that were written in the king's name, and sealed with the king's ring, durst no man disannul.

Wherefore the king cried mightily, that they should bring him the charmers, Chaldeans, and the conjurers of devils. The king spake also to the wise men of Babylon, and said, "Whoso can read this writing, and show me the plain meaning thereof: shall be clothed with purple, have a chain of gold about his neck, and rule the third part of my kingdom."

Both were perfect before God, and walked in all the laws and ordinances of the Lord, that no man could find fault with them.

And I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth not from a servant; though he be lord of all,

For he is our peace, which hath made of both one, and hath broken down the wall in the midst, that was a stop between us,

Then the commandment that went afore, is disannulled, because of her weakness and unprofitableness.

In that he saith a new testament, he hath abrogated the old. Now that which is disannulled and waxed old, is ready to vanish away.
