Daniel Praises God And Interprets The King's Dream

³⁸ and, wheresoever the sons of men do dwell, the wild beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens, hath he given into thy hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou, art the head of gold. ³⁹ And, after thee, shall arise another kingdom, inferior to thee, - and another - a third kingdom, of bronze, which shall bear rule throughout all the earth. ⁴⁰ And, the fourth kingdom, shall be hard as iron, - in like manner as iron breaketh in pieces and crusheth all things, - even as iron which bringeth to ruins all these, shall it break in pieces and bring to ruins.
