And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

the mean while the men who accompany'd him, remain'd astonish'd, hearing a voice, but seeing no one.

and a voice said to him, rise, Peter; kill and eat.

and I turned to see from whence the voice came that spake to me. and turning about, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

the angel replied, I am Gabriel, who attend in the presence of God, and am sent to communicate to you this agreeable message.

are not all those spirits dispatch'd as ministers to take care of those who shall belong to the christian church.
