When ye, therefore, shall see the abomination that betokeneth desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place: let him that readeth it, understand it:

Moreover, when ye see the abomination that betokeneth desolation, whereof is spoken by Daniel the prophet, stand where it ought not" - let him that readeth understand it - "then let them that be in Jewry, flee to the mountains.

"And when ye see Jerusalem besieged with a host, then understand that the desolation of the same is nigh.

And they shall fall on the edge of the sword. And they shall be led captive into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden underfoot of the gentiles, until the time of the gentiles be fulfilled.

"'But and if ye will not hearken unto me, nor will do all these my commandments,

I call heaven and earth to record unto you this day, that ye shall shortly perish from off the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it: Ye shall not prolong your days therein, but shall shortly be destroyed.

"But and if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God to keep and to do all his commandments and ordinances which I command thee this day; then all these curses shall come upon thee and overtake thee:

Lest there be among you man or woman, kindred or tribe, that turneth away in his heart this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations: and lest there be among you some root that beareth gall and wormwood,

But and if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear: but shalt go astray and worship strange gods and serve them,

Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears and call heaven and earth to record against them.

And when the LORD saw it, he was angry because of the provoking of his sons and daughters.

Let their table be made a snare to take themselves withal; and let the things that should have been for their wealth be unto them an occasion of falling.

And I will set up an everlasting covenant with them; Namely: that I will never cease to do them good, and that I will put my fear in their hearts, so that they shall not run away from me.

"'Nevertheless, I will remember the covenant that I made with thee in thy youth, insomuch that it shall be an everlasting covenant:

Upon this I heard one of the saints speaking, which saint said unto one that asked this question, "How long shall this vision of the daily sacrifice and of the wasting abomination endure: that the Sanctuary and the power shall so be trodden under foot?"

The king shall do what him list, he shall exalt and magnify himself against all that is God. Yea, he shall speak marvelous things against the God of all gods, wherein he shall prosper, so long till the wrath be fulfilled, for the conclusion is devised already.

This is my blood of the new testament, that shall be shed for many, for the forgiveness of sins.

And behold, the veil of the temple did rent in twain from the top to the bottom, and the earth did quake,

But the gift is not like as the sin. For if, through the sin of one, many be dead: much more plenteous, upon many, was the grace of God and gift by grace: which grace was given by one man, Jesus Christ.

For as by one man's disobedience many became sinners: so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

For when God made promise to Abraham, because he had no greater thing to swear by, he sware by himself,

For in rebuking them he saith, "Behold the days will come, saith the Lord, and I will finish upon the house of Israel, and upon the house of Judah, a new testament;

And for this cause is he the mediator of the new testament, that through death which chanced for the redemption of those transgressions that were in the first testament, they which were called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

even so Christ was once offered to take away the sins of many, and unto them that look for him, shall he appear again, without sin, unto their salvation.

For it is impossible that the blood of oxen, and of goats should take away sins.
