                                    1 De der stoler På HERREN, er som Zions bjerg, der aldrig i evighed rokkes.                                

                                    1 A Song of Ascents.Those who trust in the LordAre as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever.

                                    2 Jerusalem ligger hegnet af Bjerge; og HERREN hegner sit Folk fra nu og til evig Tid :                                

                                    2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,So the Lord surrounds His peopleFrom this time forth and forever.

                                    3 Han lader ej Gudløsheds Herskerskerstav tynge retfærdiges Lod, at retfærdige ikke skal udrække Hånden til Uret.                                

                                    3 For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous,So that the righteous will not put forth their hands to do wrong.
